Happy Fathers Day To All Father Figures || Wedding Photographer Knoxville TN
During the father dance at every single wedding this lump develops in my throat. You know the lump that blocks all tears from you starting to ugly cry, ya that lump! I’ve always been a daddy’s girl, no doubt about that! I’ve been so blessed to have a Godly father in my life who has encouraged my to be independent and chase after my dreams, even if they were a little crazy
The Longer I shoot weddings the more I realize there are some pretty amazing men in this world. Men who have raised their own daughters, men who have raised their step daughters and men who have stepped up to be a dad to a daughter who was in need of a father figure. It’s a beautiful thing to watch as these brides talk about their father figure in their lives during the wedding process and even more beautiful when you seen grown men turn into puddles of tears when they see their daughters on their wedding day. There truly is a special bond between a father and her father figure.
Father figures whoever you are, hats off to you! Let there be no doubt, young or old a girl needs you in their lives. You help make them brave and you help give them the confidence they will need in life to see themselves in a beautiful way. I promise no matter what happens if you changes a girls life by being her father figure, she will always be daddy little girl!
Below are some of our favorite father daughter moments from 2015.

If you’ve not heard this song, get your tissues out! This describes me and my father so well…..
Front row center in that little white church
I was singing at a baby laying in a manger
Eight years old wearing angel wings
Yeah, and to this day
That’s what you see
I’ve been daddy’s little girl since my first cry
And it was hard turning eighteen, saying goodbye
You told me I was gonna take the world by storm
And mama said you cried all the way home
You think I’m strong, you think I’m fearless
Even when I’m, I’m at my weakest
You always see the best in me when I can’t
I wanna be the girl you think I am
I got my flaws and I’ve got regrets
And I know there’s more on the road ahead
When I wonder if I’ll ever measure up
Oh, I thank God for a father’s love
‘Cause you think I’m brave, and you think I’m beautiful
You think that I can do the impossible
You always see the best in me when I can’t
I wanna be the girl you think I am
