Why You Should Go To Yellowstone National Park || Bucket List Trip

Why you should you go to Yellowstone National Park …the list is long so stop asking and just go! I’m not sure if there’s enough time to write a blog of all the reasons Yellowstone is a must for anyones one bucket list, but this national park is simply amazing.

Yellowstone has four entrances and if you started at one and drove to each of them I’m not sure you could do it in one day. This national park is massive and so diverse that it’s hard for my mind to even wrap around it all and I’ve been there. The West entrance has fields and rivers, the South entrance forest, the East is the lake and bay area and the North mountainous. You can’t visit this park and not think of what an amazing creator God is.

There are certain areas in the park that are known for its wildlife, Hayden Valley, and the Lamar area. One night I randomly met a group of bear chasers in Hayden Valley, this group of retirees had been to Yellowstone 26 years straight for 3 weeks at a time to find and watch bears. I made friends with these amazing people and I got to hang out with them every evening to watch grizzly bears. Watching these bears in the wild, was just an amazing experience and reminded that explorers will always have something in common regardless of age or life…they have an adventurous soul longing to discover.

Each day I would wake up at sunrise, grab some coffee, jump in the car, crank up the music, roll down the windows and just drive. I absolutely loved not having a schedule, my cell phone having little service and traveling by myself. I find that when I travel it gives me a clear mind and a chance to really connect with God. When I see His creation in its rawest form, I can’t even begin to express my gratitude for the life He’s given me.

From wading in the rivers shooting baby elk calves to laying in the natural hot springs, to the adrenaline rush of watching grizzly bears feed on a carcass, to watching the sunset, Yellowstone was breath taking! Why You Should Go To Yellowstone National Park….because Yellowstone will NOT disappoint!
