Nathan and Hannah’s Engagement
A Hunter Valley Farm spring wedding, it’s one of my favorite things, but let’s take a step back to this couple’s engagement.
Last year Nathan contacted me about doing a “family” photo shoot at The Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm. The reason I put family in quotations is because that’s what type of photo shoot Hannah thought it was. In reality, Nathan was planning a surprise proposal with both of their families and their pup! The proposal went as planned and Hannah said YES! We all went back to Nathan’s cousins’ house which is also the owners of Hunter Valley Farm and had dinner. I knew from that day Nathan and Hannah were the perfect couple for me. They were fun and chill. I’m so thankful they booked me as their wedding photographer!
Hunter Valley Farm Spring Wedding
The wedding day had arrived and I was so excited to see what the staff at Hunter Valley Farm had created. Nancy (owner of Hunter Valley) is amazing at so many things, including wedding design. They told me they had given her full control over design. It’s always fun to show up at a wedding and see the final products of planning. Hunter Valley did not disappoint!
Their list of vendors included some of my favorite people! When you hire a great team of vendors things seem to come together seamlessly! They had a lot of cool touches to their wedding day, but one of my favorite things was a dessert bar. I may have had one too many sweats that night.
The Wedding Day At Hunter Valley Farm
As many of you know The Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm was flooded back in February. I was traveling when I heard the news and my heart broke for my friend the owner. Yet, I knew Nancy would take this chance to make this negative into a positive. This was the first wedding I had shot there since the flood and all I can say is the redesign is amazing!
I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding day for Nathan and Hannah. Even though it was hot, Nathan and Hannah and the whole bridal party were troopers. We were all thankful for no rain and we stayed in the shade as much as possible!
Nathan and Hannah said I do in the amphitheater outdoors. They then had their reception in the Pavilion. Family and friends ate and danced the night away, it was so fun!
This Hunter Valley Farm spring wedding was everything a girl could ask for, heck that a couple could ask for!
Nathan and Hannah, I wish you years of happiness! Thank you for choosing me to capture this day!
Love
Tonya
