Summer Wedding Near Chattanooga TN
Guys, we made it!! COVID didn’t stop us this time! This couple’s wedding was moved from April and COVID has thrown so many things their way. We were all so excited that their wedding finally happened!! This summer wedding near Chattanooga TN was amazing!
Getting Ready
Let’s first start with the Italian Villa they rented to get ready it! Um, it was so pretty they could have gotten married there! Just think lakefront views with a Tuscany charm! I wanted to move in! They got ready, did first look photos, and had a family dinner. I had never shot a wedding where the couple did a family dinner before the wedding, but I loved the thought. It was neat to see something special like dinner just for their family to share!
Getting ready, I can’t talk about that part without talking about Rebecca’s dress! Y’all! Her mom made it! Yes, you read that right! Her mom took her drees, and both of her grandmother’s dress and made her a wedding dress out of it! Judge for yourself, she did amazing! What a sentimental thing!
The Wedding
Once getting ready photos, first look, dinner, and family photos were finished we head to the ceremony site! The ceremony site is a piece of property Rebecca’s family owns and also the place where Brandon proposed to her! The property is also lake from and an amazing place to have a summer wedding near Chattanooga TN. Rebecca said the sunsets there are amazing and we were hoping for a beautiful one, but we didn’t get one because it was cloudy; however, the rain did hold off! They said their vows in front of their friends and family and headed to the reception. Their getaway car was her granddaddy’s Model A that he had restored for the wedding. It was beautiful and her granddaddy was the proud driver!
The Reception
Let’s talk reception because her DJ turned this reception into a PARTY! Guys, by far one of the best DJ’s and parties I’ve ever attended! It was so fun! The reception was at Rebecca’s father’s warehouse. They draped the ceilings with fabric that his company made and turned it in a beautiful reception site! Seeing they are both in the medical field, they had cute little setups reflecting that, including a bar that was set up like an old apothecary! They danced the night away and we sent them off with a sparkler exit!
This year has been so crazy for the wedding industry and the couple getting married, but we all have been taking it in strides! A big shout out to everyone for working together to make this day such an enjoyable day!
