East TN Fall Wedding
I don’t care what venue you chose if it’s in East TN and in the Fall you are going to get some great photos outside. An East TN Fall wedding is always perfect! Chad and Halie decided to get married at their church in Jamestown, TN. It’s about two hours outside of Knoxville and it’s beautiful there. I had never been to Jamestown before so I had no clue what to expect when I arrived, but I was pleasantly surprised! It’s nothing but beautiful farmland for miles. Add a little bit of Fall to it and it can complement any wedding day.
The Couple
Let me talk about the couple for a moment. When Halie first booked me she had no clue that her brother and sister-in-law had already booked me for their wedding. Every time I think back on the moment we realized this, I laugh. I always love photographing weddings where I know a lot of people that are in attendance. Weddings are fun, they are more fun with people you know!
Once I started getting to know Halie, I knew she was the perfect bride for me. Her kindness toward people and her love for Jesus is a win-win for me. When I finally got to meet Chad, I was thinking who is this crazy guy? Just kidding, lol he’s awesome! I loved watching them during their engagement session and how insanely crazy he was about her. Yes, you want your couples to be connected to each other and infatuated with one another, oddly not all are. It was refreshing to watch them both giggle and connect as we melted in the hot sunflower field.
The Wedding Day
Their wedding day came and I was so excited for them. On the way to their wedding, I continued to pray over them. I’m so blessed to have a career where it’s not just a job. I get to love my clients well, which also includes praying for them! I arrived and joined in on the anticipation of their day with them.
Once the ceremony was over Ben (the videographer), myself, Halie and Chad hopped in my car to find shade and a good spot for photos. Seeing they had a midday wedding the sun was too bright to photograph them in the field beside their church. We drove around for just a few moments until we found a wooded area with wheatgrass. Score, it was a winner! I’m so thankful my clients are adventurous too! It truly changes how their wedding photos turn out. We stood in this field and laughed so hard as I captured their joy. We all got a good laugh when we all four realized we were all PK’s (preacher kids), you don’t know until you know!
Thank You
Chad and Halie, I’m so thankful for you and for your family. I adore watching you two together and I can no wait to see what God has in store for you as a couple. It has been a delight getting to know you and your families. Cheers to many more crazy adventures and laughs!
Love
