Charleston Engagement Session | Bivins and Brittani
This downtown Charleston engagement session was so much fun! I shot Bivins and Brittani’s proposal session last week (see it here) in the Great Smoky Mountains. I love the Smokies, but I’m always up for a downtown Charleston engagement session! I’m very familiar with Charleston because I had family that lived there for years, so it’s always fun to return. Downtown Charleston is historic and beautiful. Every bend and turn there’s something new to see and explore. With alleyways, doorsteps, colorful buildings, and cobblestone streets, Charleston has it all!
Tuesday Evening
When Bivins asked me to meet them in Charleston I said yes! Charleston is always a yes in my book! We met for their downtown engagement session on Tuesday evening at golden hour (the hour before sunset). We met at The Battery which is a waterfront park downtown. It is dog-friendly, and has benches, a gazebo, and a wonderful view of the ocean. I took some photos there and then we walked around downtown. We ended their Charleston engagement session by the ocean walkway with an amazing cotton candy sunset. For an hour and a half, we laughed, got to know each other, and talked about future wedding plans. It felt just like old friends catching up!
Their engagement session turned out to be one of the most fun sessions I’ve ever shot! I can’t remember the last time I laughed that hard at an engagement session. Bivins and Brittani, congratulations! Cheers to future travels and more adventures!
