Bonita and Melvin || Nevada Desert Wedding in Las Vegas, NV
This Nevada desert wedding photo shoot is one of my favorite bride and groom destination photo shoots ever! There’s something beautiful about a bride a groom in the desolate desert that sparked some creativity for me that’s hard to explain. I always love shooting in new places, but this one takes the cake. The sights, sounds, and smells of a new place stir my soul and remind me of why I do what I do.
How I Met Melvin
I met Melvin a few years ago at WPPI, a photography conference that is held in Las Vegas, NV. We were out on a group photoshoot and we became a friend and well the rest is history. This past March I attended WPPI again and just so happened Melvin had just eloped. He is an amazing L.A. wedding photographer and they decided to come to Las Vegas, NV so I could shoot their Nevada desert wedding photos! It’s the highest honor when you get to shoot another photographer’s wedding photos.
It was so good to see Melvin again and to meet his wife Bonita! We had a wonderful evening exploring Cold Creek and shooting their official wedding photos. After shooting their wedding photos we got to catch up a little on our drive back to Las Vegas. We also stopped for some food at Panda Express, which is always so yummy! We had such a good day taking photos and just catching up.
