I love a good surprise, and this one was so good. Kam and I had been talking for about a month planning his Smoky Mountain surprise proposal. He was anxiously planning this big moment. He wanted it to be perfect for his girlfriend, now fiance, Alisha. If you know me, you know I love going to visit the Smoky Mountains, so I was all in on this surprise proposal.
The Proposal
Kam and their friends planned a hiking trip out here, and traveled from Houston, Texas. They planned their last stop for the proposal to be at Clingmans Dome. Kam planned their Smoky Mountain surprise proposal with both his parents and hers. Such a fun way to get the whole family involved and excited for a big life milestone. They planned to have all kinds of family and friends fly out to surprise Alisha to celebrate the exciting news together.
Needless to say, Alisha wasn’t expecting a thing and was shocked by the proposal. She was so happy and full of joy, and her ring was GORGEOUS. The best part was seeing her reaction to all their friends and family coming out. They were all able to be there for the Smoky Mountain surprise proposal. It was definitely the cherry on top for these two. Kam was so sweet and was so nervous for the proposal but did a great job!
One of my favorite things about Kam was that he took the time to reach out to me and plan for this big moment to be captured. I live for memories and love to have them on photo, so this was such a special event to be apart of. Take all the pictures, and keep them to look back on years from now. These photos are a great way to remember not only their engagement, but also how they were feeling in that moment.
