Adventure Sessions, great smoky mountains, Weddings

Smoky Mountains Wedding Photographer || Spence Cabin Elopements

Spence Cabin Elopements – it’s always a phrase that warms my soul! Picture a salmon-colored cottage nestled in the woods of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Just past the cabin, a trail runs through the forest, along the river, and to a “secret” troll bridge. It’s an easy hike if you are looking to elope in the Smoky Mountains. Among one of the most peaceful places, you’ll find in East TN.

Blake and Emily decided to elope in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park a few weeks back. Some of their closest friends and family would join them on Saturday morning for a micro wedding. However, they wanted something more for photos. After chatting with Emily I explained that we could do an adventure session. What would happen is, the night before at sunset in the national park for photos with just them. Emily wasn’t really sure what I was referring to so I explained that an adventure session was epic. I told her that, the bride and groom go on an adventure separate from their actual wedding for photo purposes. Emily was pumped! So she booked this session in addition to her elopement and as you can see we had a blast.

Even though this didn’t fall into the category of Spence Cabin Elopements, it fell into the category of awesome.
