As a Knoxville TN wedding photographer, I can’t get enough of marriage proposals! I just think it is so thoughtful when a guy not only plans a special moment to propose to his girlfriend, but also hires a professional wedding photographer to document the moment.
Adam contacted me a few weeks ago and explained that he had been working with the wedding coordinators at Whitestone Country Inn to propose to Kristi. He explained that he had visited the property at Whitestone a few times and was looking for the perfect spot to ask her to marry him. After chatting with Adam, I was so excited to know he was doing this for her and that he wanted to include professional engagement photos during the day as well.
Sunday came, the mood was set, decor was in place, the carriage ride was ready and dinner plans were made for this amazing proposal. The only thing Adam had left to do was get Kristi to Whitestone and get her on the horse and carriage ride without her figuring out that he was about ready to pop the question.
The horse and carriage arrived, but at this point Kristi said she still thought this was part of her “birthday surprise” (this is what Adam had told her this day was). They road hopped on the carriage and headed off to the spot where Adam had planned to propose. I waited in the bushes (like a ninja) waiting on Adam to ask Kristi to be his wife.
As you can see Adam asked and Kristi said YES! What a special moment to share with this sweet couple!
